2012 Celebration Luncheon

Childhaven supporters helped us raise over $624,000 and meet our matching gift challenge at this year's Childhaven Celebration Luncheon.

Author, playwright and keynote speaker Antwone Fisher, whose childhood was marked by years of child abuse, told the audience that he wonders what his own life would have been like if Childhaven has come to his rescue like it has for so many wounded young children in King County. “If there was a Childhaven in Cleveland where I grew up, I would not have had the difficult childhood that I had,” Antwone said. “There would have been someone to intervene in my early life.”
