Proudly Serving the Puget Sound Area
Broadway Branch
The state-of-the-art facility and its 45 full-time staff members — including 24 therapeutic child care providers — serve approximately 98 children.
The branch includes 11 classrooms (observable through one-way glass), collaborative research rooms and a library resource area
Eli Creekmore Memorial Branch
Opened in 1987, the Eli Creekmore Memorial Branch is located in the south part of Seattle near the city of Burien. It is named in remembrance of 4-year-old Matthew Eli Creekmore of Everett.
The furor over the little boy’s death by horrific abuse at the hands of his father helped spur broad improvements in the state’s oversight of child abuse cases.
Patrick L. Gogerty Branch
Opened in 1992 as Childhaven’s second center, the Patrick L. Gogerty Branch serves approximately 98 children in the South King County area. The building is named in honor of Childhaven’s modern-day founder and former executive director Patrick Gogerty, whose own abusive childhood inspired him to shift Seattle Day Nursery’s day care focus toward the care of the youngest victims of abuse and neglect.

Our partners use our resources nationwide in schools, hospitals, after-school programs, national nonprofit camps, and community-based organizations. Art with Heart has reached more than 200,000 kids and 4,000 adults since its inception in 1996.
