Referrals and Eligibility

Through Art with Heart, we bring the healing power of creative expression to kids and adults serving kids. Our therapeutic activity books are designed for kids age 5-18. Printed curricula, in-person and online trainings are available for adults who are leading or looking to lead creative expression programs with the kids they serve.

Through our capacity building services, we support community-based providers to respond to the needs of young children and families experiencing trauma and adversity.

Childhaven’s therapists support families and children from birth to 24 years, providing therapeutic care and counseling services with a focus on: infant/early childhood mental health, dyadic and interaction-focused therapies, trauma-informed care, emotional health, and whole child well-being.

Our community based programs provide a variety of supports to children and families in the places where they live, learn, and play. Supports include RAYS UP youth mentoring, Kaleidoscope Play and Learn groups, and Healthcare Integration services that are embedded within pediatric primary care.

Childhaven’s early learning programs serve young children and their families. We provide daily classroom-based care with a social-emotional focus to prepare children for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

Childhaven’s early support for infants and toddlers program provides developmental therapies to support children from birth to 3 years to address a variety of developmental concerns.

Wraparound with Intensive Services are designed to support young children, ages birth to 13, who have significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Wraparound with Intensive Services are guided by an Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health framework, supporting children’s primary relationships in both their home and early learning environments. Families work closely with their care team, including a Parent Partner, Care Coordinator, and Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist, to develop a support plan that centers their goals for their family.
