What’s an attachment disorder?
Attachment Disorders can develop if a bond is disrupted between a child and a caregiver when the child is very young. When this occurs, children typically do not learn to trust adults or peers, and can develop self-esteem problems, as well as health concerns.
What does music therapy involve?
Music therapy uses interaction with instruments, rhythm, and melody to support young children with social-emotional skills, self-regulation skills, coping skills, overall development and more. It also promotes positive parent-child interactions. Music therapy is a fun and engaging way for children and families to strengthen bonds and build resilience!
We offer music therapy for individual children, parent-child dyads, and groups. Contact Alyssa at 206-957-4895 to learn more!
